If a person thinks he or she is religious, and does not hold back his tongue but deceives his heart, this person's religion is vain. Religion that is pure and clean before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their suffering and pain, and to keep oneself unstained from the world. - James 1:26-27
